Endeavour Quay history
Endeavour Quay was established in 2005 after taking over the premises previously occupied by Camper & Nicholsons. Steeped in history, with a boatyard on the site since the 1790s, numerous famous boats have been built in the Gosport yard including the J Class yacht ‘Endeavour’ which gives the boatyard its name.

Endeavour Quay is an ideal boatyard for commercial vessels or yachts. Immediate deep water access with top quality equipment capable of lifting boats up to 40 metres or 180 tonnes, with 2,000 square metres of under cover storage and berthing for vessels up to 45 metres long, there’s also a range of project office space available.

With its easy access to the heart of the Solent, Endeavour Quay is the boatyard of choice for many racing yachts. Ideal for race and regatta preparation, running repairs or refits, facilities include a 24-hour lifting service for yachts up to 40 metres, deep water waiting pontoons with no restriction on air-draft and extensive shoreside storage.
Getting to Endeavour Quay
Premier’s Endeavour Quay Boatyard is at Gosport Marina, just inside the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour. Easy to find, it is just 0.2 miles west of Portsmouth by ferry or 10 miles by road, just six miles from the M27.
