Endeavour Quay offers comprehensive services for the refit, storage and repair of commercial vessels up to 40 metres long or 180 tonnes.
Situated at the mouth of Portsmouth Harbour, with immediate deep-water access to the Solent, Premier’s Endeavour Quay lies just eight miles from the marine hubs of Cowes and Hamble. Formerly the famous Camper & Nicholsons’ shipyard, Endeavour Quay is a world-class facility with the best in yard equipment and facilities and an experienced and knowledgeable team to match.
Boat lifting
Endeavour Quay boatyard is ideal for bigger boats with one of the biggest travel lift boat hoists on the South Coast of England. The yard’s world-class equipment is capable of lifting vessels up to 180 tonnes or 40 metres long and moving boats up to 45 tonnes. Smaller boats often choose to use the facilities, confident in the equipment and staff’s expertise.
Mast craneage
Premier’s Endeavour Quay has a 40-tonne mobile crane capable of lifting masts up to 34 metres in height (as well as being suitable for lifting engines, smaller vessels and RIBs). Local marine specialist crane contractors can help source the right equipment for larger jobs. Masts are stored securely in the boatyard’s mast rack.
Open boat storage
Endeavour Quay has 4,000 square metres of secure outside storage space with access to fresh water and electricity. Your vessel will be placed in one of our galvanised cradles or blocked with specialist equipment. We aim to allow ease of access around each vessel to ensure work can be carried out to the topsides as efficiently as possible. We can also accommodate vessels that need to be scaffolded or tented.
Undercover storage
Endeavour Quay’s three large, full-service boat sheds are one of the boatyard’s major attractions. Totalling an impressive 2,000 square metres, the sheds are fully lit, with a 63-amp metered power supply (110V and 240V). There are overhead gantry cranes (three tonnes and five tonnes), project offices and storerooms. Vessels are manoeuvred into the sheds using the yard’s boat mover or large boat winch.
Berthing
Endeavour Quay’s pontoons and lifting dock enjoy deep water access at all states of the tide. The marina’s 45-metre and two 35-metre waiting pontoons happily berth vessels with a water draft of up to five metres and an unrestricted air draft. Protected by a substantial breakwater, they offer alongside mooring, 24-hour shore access, a portable water supply and permanent electricity supply.
