We are delighted to welcome two long-standing Premier employees to Universal as our new Duty Managers – Richard Whillier and Martin Bowman.
Rich has been a part of the Premier team for almost 10 years based at Port Solent Marina, starting out as a Lock Master, moving over to a Boatyard Administration role in 2014 before becoming Duty Manager in 2016. He has gained invaluable experience over the years, developing both his own career and those of his marina team and is looking forward to continuing this at Universal Marina.
“I was really excited to be offered the opportunity to join the team at Universal and experience marina life on the stunning River Hamble,” says Rich. “The team and berth holders here are amazing and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far and look forward to what’s to come.”
Joining Rich and the team is Martin Bowman, who has over 20 years’ experience within the marina industry, including Premier’s Swanwick, Port Solent and Gosport marinas. As a former RYA Instructor and Commercial Skipper and a wealth of knowledge from over the years working in marinas, Martin is looking forward to putting his experience to good use with the team at Universal.”
