That’s a wrap on the Southampton International Boat Show 2024! We want to thank all of you that were able to visit our show stand on our dedicated Trafalgar Wharf day and throughout the 10 days of the show. It was a pleasure to welcome nearly 4000 guests to the stand and we hope you found your visit both enjoyable and informative.

Gabby And Elliott Trafalgar Wharf NW Mixed Content Block 952X664

New faces and roles at Trafalgar

We want to wish a warm welcome and a big congratulations to Gabby Wood who is now back at Trafalgar Wharf following her maternity leave. Before joining us, Gabby previously worked as a stewardess on a superyacht travelling around Thailand and when she’s not at work enjoys spending time with her two sons, baking delicious sourdough and heading out on a run.

We are also delighted to announce the promotion of Elliott Hall to Duty Manager. Elliott has worked at Trafalgar Wharf for 6 years as a Marina Operative, in which time he has completed banksman, forklift and powerboat instructor certifications. Outside of work, Elliott volunteers for a cadets group organising camping, team building and watersport activities and he also enjoys playing hockey.

You may also notice our brand new signage on the dry stack shed and around the site as we continue our transition into the Premier group – soon to be celebrating our 1-year anniversary!

Keeping you safe onsite

Whilst we want everyone to enjoy their time at Trafalgar, we always want to ensure all our customers, tenants, visitors and staff are safe and protected. Please ensure you are taking note of the pontoon usage rules signposted at the top of each bridgehead to help keep our boat moving operations launching in a smooth and safe manner. We ask everyone to ensure they are wearing a high-vis jacket when working on or visiting the maintenance racks and for all borrowed high-vis jackets to be returned to the office to ensure we have a supply to lend out.

If you have an external contractor working on your boat, they must be registered with our Safeworks Access System to be allowed access to the site and facilities. If they are found to be onsite without pre-registering, they will be asked to leave the site and you may be incurred a charge still so please make sure this is being sorted in advance of any works.
