Whilst we are welcoming fewer visitors during the colder months, it gives the marina team the chance to tackle some of the issues which affect everyone at the marina – both our berth holders and tenants.
We often discover non-marina users dumping their waste in our wheely bins.
Often this contaminates the waste making it much harder to recycle.
We’re hoping to solve this by creating a secure bin bay which can be accessed using your blue fobs.
We hope that this will deter the misuse of our bins and reserves the facility for the exclusive use of marina users – but please remember your fob!
You may have also noticed the annual migration of the outer waiting pontoon - this has now been dismantled and stored in the marina to protect it from winter storms.
