Sovereign Harbour Eastbourne lock maintenance shutdown

We will soon begin the annual lock shutdown at Sovereign Harbour to carry out essential maintenance.

Lock 1 (furthest from the marina reception) will be closed from Monday 3rd March for approximately 5 weeks, subject to weather conditions.

Pedestrian access across the lock walkways will be closed on the first and last day of works and there may be some lock interruption on these dates whilst we lift equipment over the lock.

Lock 2 (nearest the marina reception) will remain fully operational throughout these works. With the number of lock movements increasing in lock 2, we kindly ask that boat owners maintain good communication via VHF Ch 17 when transiting the lock.
