In preparation of the busy boating season, the lock at Port Solent Marina will be closed as part of our 3-yearly lock maintenance programme.
The lock will be closed from Monday 12th February to Saturday 2nd March 2024 to allow our team and external contractors access to complete a full review and carry out any essential maintenance required to the lock. The planned closure dates are subject to weather conditions. During this time there will be no access through the lock, nor on the outer waiting pontoon and the pedestrian walkway will not be accessible.
To reduce further disruption, we have instructed ML Dredging to carry out dredging works in the entrance channel at the same time.
