Since Crew Allocation last month, where over hundreds of adventurers from over 40 nations found out which fellow crewmates they would be embarking on the adventure of a lifetime with, the next level of training has commenced, which is the first time that the sailors participating in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race will train with their fellow teammates, Skipper and AQP (First Mate).
Now, the build up to the Clipper 2023-24 Race is well underway with the Level 4 Training courses in full swing. Race Crew sail for the first time with their Skipper, First Mate and fellow teammates on board a Clipper 70 yacht for their final level of training before their race. This involves intensive on the water training and a chance to develop their race strategy, with a multi-day race in the English Channel to hone their skills.
