Navigating to Sovereign Harbour
East of Brighton, Sovereign Harbour is situated just outside Eastbourne. If you are approaching the marina by sea, from the east or south-east, remain alert for the tide rips over the shoals. Directions by road
For satellite navigation, use the postcode BN23 5DD. Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne is around 50 miles from the M25 via the M23, A22 or A21 routes south. From the A259 to Eastbourne, take the first exit off the Martello Roundabout to Sovereign Harbour North, follow signage for the Harbour Office and RNLI. Rail, air and ferry connections
Eastbourne railway station has regular services to Brighton and London (90 minutes via Gatwick Airport), as well as Ashford International for Eurostar services. Newhaven, 12 miles to the west, offers ferry services to Dieppe. An hour by train, Gatwick Airport is 90 minutes by car, Brighton City Airport is available to private light aircraft.
