The position of Lock Keeper has become available at Port Solent Marina, overlooking Portchester Castle.  Working as part of a small, hardworking team this multifaceted role will include, but is not limited to, lock operations, customer service, general maintenance and other tasks as may be required.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
• Ability to understand and deliver excellent customer service
• Ability to learn and use computer software systems
• “A can do” attitude and flexible approach to teamwork

This role includes working both indoors and outdoors in all weathers and includes working days / nights, weekends and bank holidays as required to keep our marina operational all year round.

Previous experience of boat handling and a local knowledge of the local sailing area and cruising grounds would be a major advantage but training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential.
