Things to do in the local area

Falmouth is home to miles of coastal paths for you to enjoy on foot or by boat. Explore creekside villages, try rock pooling, snorkelling or sailing at a range of beautiful Cornish beaches. A host of beautiful gardens are nearby, try Trebah Gardens, which has lovely walks down to the Helford River, or the National Trust gardens of Bosveal and Glendurgan.

Easy access to Cornish attractions

Falmouth’s location gives you access to many famous Cornish attractions. The Tate Gallery at St Ives and the Minack Theatre at Penzance are well worth a trip. The Lizard, Land’s End and St Michael’s Mount are all easy trips. Slightly further afield you’ll find attractions such as Tintagel Castle, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project, or head for surfing hotspots such as Bude or Newquay.
