Whilst we keep our fingers crossed for some warmer weather soon, now is also the perfect time to build on your knowledge and confidence for keeping safe out on the water ahead of the busier boating season.
Join us on Saturday 8th March from 10am to 1pm for a Sea Safety Day!
Held in the Royal Sovereign Suite at Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club, the event will include a man overboard demonstration from our marina team and volunteers from the RNLI Water Safety Team at 11am. This will then be followed by a talk from healthcare professional Roy Hopgood about the steps to take following a man overboard scenario.
We will also be joined by Nickys Chandlery selling sea safety gear, RNLI Water Safety volunteers to conduct FREE lifejacket checks and the Sovereign Harbour Berth Holder's Association to discuss the benefits of a membership.
The event is free to join with no pre-booking required and complimentary tea, coffee and pastries will be provided for Premier berth holders.
